Fed Council’s committee supports 2024–2026 budget’s concept
MOSCOW, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- The budget committee of the Russian parliament’s upper chamber Federation Council has supported the concept of the 2024–2026 federal budget draft, the committee’s member Alexander Shenderyuk-Zhidkov told PRIME late on Wednesday.
“The committee has supported the concept of the law on the federal budget draft for 2024 and for the planned period of 2025–2026,” he said.
According to the draft, revenue will amount to 35 trillion rubles in 2024, 33.5 trillion rubles in 2025, and 34.1 trillion rubles in 2026, while spending should reach 36.6 trillion rubles next year, 34.4 trillion rubles in 2025, 35.6 trillion rubles in 2026.
Budget deficit will stand at 1.595 trillion rubles, or 0.9% of the gross domestic product (GDP), in 2024, at 830 billion rubles, or 0.4% of the GDP, in 2025 and at 1.536 trillion rubles, or 0.8% of the GDP, in 2026.
